The SAG AR2000 Jet is the Shanghai Airgun Factory’s top of the line magnum class spring airgun which easily produces in excess of 25 FPE and excellent accuracy. Also known as the TF Jet or Tech Force Jet, the AR2000 while currently no longer available under the Tech Force brand, is made by the same company producing popular air rifles such as the QB78 and Beeman Sportman Series. The SAG Jet is a large rifle at 48 inches in length and is ideal for use as a hunting rifle intended to take medium sized game such as rabbits and raccoon. Cocking effort for the Jet is in the 45-50 lbs range, and un-scoped the rifle weighs in at just a tick under 10 lbs. Despite the large size and weight of the Jet, its excellent balance and well designed thumbhole stock serve to make the rifle more stable and easier to shoot than many other magnum class springers of similar size.


The AR 2000 is a high power air rifle and routinely produces muzzle energies in excess of 25+ foot pounds in .22 caliber with heavier 18 -21 grain pellets. In our testing, the JET easily reached 26+ FPE using 21 grain H/N Barracude Match pellets. The Jet is also accurate and can produce groups under ¾” CTC at 25 yards. The JET features a fixed fiber optic front sight with metal globe guard, micro click adjustable fiber optic rear sight, standard 11mm dovetail scope mounting grooves, and a 2 stage fully adjustable trigger. Included with the Jet are a one piece scope rail and a scope arresting block to prevent scope movement. The stock is an ambidextrous thumbhole design with raised cheek piece made from European Beech and is finished in a rich dark stain. The stock features precision cut checkering on the forearm and a soft rubber buttpad for secure handling and comfortable shooting. Not only is the Jet accurate and powerful, but it is attractive as well.

The AR 2000 JET from SAG is a true magnum class air gun that is as equally at home performing precision shooting as it is harvesting small game. The high power and well designed ergonomics combine to produce a large yet more easily mastered magnum air rifle that although requiring effort to cock and shoot, rewards its owner with accuracy and impact few other rifles in its class can honestly deliver.

Note: This rifle is extremely powerful and noted for its high performance capabilities. We offer this rifle in factory stock configuration, or with a standard tune and lube for a few dollars more, which significantly improves the smoothness, accuracy and consistency of this air gun. The large size and heavy cocking effort of this rifle make it a better choice for adults and ideally suited for pesting and hunting use.
