The QB78 Deluxe Air Rifle is an improved version of the popular QB78 and provides a host of upgraded features that enhance performance and shootability. The QB78 Deluxe offers a great bang for your buck deal with features like a Chinese Beech wood stock with raised cheek piece and rubber butt pad, attractive gold trigger and bolt handle, and adjustable fiber optic sights.


The QB78D is a great value and provides all the accuracy and reliability you’ve come to expect from the QB78 line of air rifles while adding even more features for an enhanced shooting experience. The very attractive stock features Chinese beech with deep stain and a raised cheek piece for better sight alignment when utilizing a scope. The trigger and bolt are given a gold finish which really helps this rifle stand out from the crowd. The sites on the QB78D include a fiber optic front blade and a fiber optic rear sight that is click adjustable for windage and elevation.

The QB78 Deluxe is also fitted with a larger diameter barrel than the standard QBs, providing greater rigidity, and a metal barrel band which helps to maintain greater barrel stability and provide greater resistance to loosening or barrel shifting. The standard QB78 air rifle is fitted with a 14mm barrel, while the QB78 Deluxe and AR2078 variants are fitted with a larger 15mm diam barrel. These Co2 air rifles are well known for their accuracy and easy modification and can be adapted to bulk fill configurations quite easily with an available adapter that simply screws on in place of the original end cap.

Like the rest of the QB78 line, the Deluxe has an adjustable trigger that allows for adjustments to travel, pull weight, and sear engagement. The trigger action is clean and predictable, with smooth operation and a generally light pull. Like all QB78 variants, the QB78 Deluxe can be powered with one empty and one full CO2 cartridge, or given a full charge with two full CO2’s. This is useful when performing modifications or testing and you don’t want to waste cartridges. The breech is cut to accept standard 11mm scope rings making it easy to mount the scope of your choice.

The QB78D also responds extremely well to tuning and modification, with FPE of 13+ and velocities of 700+ FPS with 22 caliber easily achieved with some judicious attention to machining and modification of the breech bolt and valve assembly. Even higher energies are possible for those who choose to upgrade their rifles to bulk fill and HPA configurations.
